AHL around the League: Week 2

It was a special week in the AHL. Brothers worked as linesmen, someone made a special accomplishment into a 500 club, and moves were made by some clubs.
News around the League:
Chad and Cody Huseby, who are from Alberta, and TWIN brothers, and were refereeing the inaugural game for the Calgary Wranglers versus the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
The AHL has announced that Stephen Thomson has been named Manager, Hockey Operations and Player Safety. Thomson is a former referee with 2 seasons in the AHL from 2016-2018. He was manager of officiating operations for the ECHL. His duties will include managing all on-ice officials as well as serving on the leagues Player Safety Committee.
Abbotsford Canucks have signed forward Kyle Rau to an AHL contract for the 2022-23 season. Kyle Rau joins Abbotsford from Minnesota Wild Organization.
On Wednesday 10/26/2022, Chicago Blackhawks traded forward Evan Barratt for Philadelphia Flyers Defenseman Cooper Zech. Both have been assigned to their respective AHL clubs.
Suspensions:
Calgary Wranglers forward Clark Bishop has been suspended for four games as a consequence of a penalty for cross-checking in a game at Colorado on Oct. 21.
AHL Player of the Week:
Laurent Dauphin has been chosen as the AHL Player of the Week. Dauphin has 320 AHL games under his belt with Tucson, Laval, Milwaukee, Rockfrod, Springfield, and Portland. During the course of his career, he has tallied 82 goals, 103 assists for 185 points. He signed as a free agent with Arizona in July of this year. The organization that chose him in the 2013 NHL Draft. During the course of 73 NHL games between the Coyotes and Montreal, he tallied 7 goals and 9 assists.
