Where does Penn State football go from here at Quarterback?

Penn State has lost their last two games sitting them at (5-3) and (2-3) in conference play.Putting them out of the top 25. A team that has shown so much hype, having Senior QB Sean Clifford playing at a top level, and a defense that was shutting opposing teams down. Now, they are sitting at the bottom as an unranked team. When the season ends, there are going to be some changes with Sean Clifford graduating. Let's talk about it.

Sean Cliffford is a senior this year. He has played well and has succeeded at winning over the fans and students at this school, especially coming off the departure of Trace McSorley. Clifford will exit as QB in a few short games and the crown will be handed over- but to who?

QB Ta’Quan Robertson-Sophmore

When Clifford went out a few weeks ago, Penn State needed to go to a backup, redshirt sophomore Ta’Quan Roberson. He has appeared in just two games the last two seasons, and he did so in a very limited capacity behind former backup Will Levis. He has just one pass attempt coming into the season, and then playing an entire half. He finished 7-21 passes for 34 yards and threw 2 interceptions.

Freshman QB Christian Veilleux

True freshman Christian Veilleux may make a case for the starting job in 2022. I would not count on seeing a lot of him in 2021 though. Veilleux did not have a senior season of football due to the season being canceled. Although, the four-star recruit brings with him a good amount of talent to look forward to in the coming years.
