Philadelphia busted the game wide open in the 6thinning, as with two outs, catcher J.T. Realmuto had a call that was supposed to be the third out, was reversed, and became a single. Then, after a pitching change, Nick Castellanos singled to center, then the newest Phillie, Harrison Bader, got his first hit for his new team, as he hit a three-run home run to left that made the score, 6-3.
Then, Otto Kemp singled to shortstop, Edmundo Sosa singled to left, then left fielder Weston Wilson singled to left, which scored pinch runner Bryson Stott that made it, 7-3. After Trea Turner walked, it was Schwarber smoking a fastball by Orioles reliever, Yaramil Hiraldo, and hit deep into the right field seats for his 40th, and making it 11-3. The eight runs in the 6th, is the most the Phillies scored in one inning all season.
