Wheeling Falls Short in Close Game Against Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne came out flying, opening the scoring early and setting an aggressive offensive tone. Wheeling answered to keep things tight, but the Komets capitalized on sustained pressure and a power-play opportunity to take control. After 20 minutes, Fort Wayne held a 3–1 advantage.
