We are 9 weeks into this NFL season and the Philadelphia Eagles are officially (8-0)! Undefeated to this point but what is it that has gotten them to this success: creative innovative offense, aggressive hard-hitting defense, or is it a perfect combination of them both? This writer believes it to be the ladder, this team has shown time and time again its ability for the offense to pick up the defense when they are having a down game and vice-versa. Then there are games like the Steelers game in week 7 where the high-flying offense and stingy defense come together for a complete game resulting in landslide victories and one-sided scoreboards. There are many momentous plays to this point that exemplify this ability to pick each other up like James Bradbery’s pick against the Jaguars right when the team needed it down 14 points. 

The Eagles continue to find ways to win and support each other and have fun while doing it. Looking at the sideline and seeing everyone light up with excitement after every point scored just shows how much fun the guys are having, and that feeling is contagious. This team just has a different feeling to it and there's no other way to say it we haven't felt this confident about an Eagles team since 2017, and much like that season this year hasn't come without its luckier moments like Jake Elliot’s field goal against the Giants or this year missed kick by the cardinals backup kicker. No team gets to this point without a few things going their way but make no mistake about it this team has earned their record and continues to stack w’s en route to what we hope will be a deep playoff run.  

In closing, enjoy this team, enjoy the wins and enjoy that special feeling you get while watching. These kinds of seasons don't happen often in Philadelphia and that is all the more reason to sit back, watch and cheer this team along the way. Lastly, appreciate a team with this identity of picking each other up and coming together for the common goal of winning games in new and unique ways every week.
