Spring Training has arrived for the Phillies
As we gear up for the 2025 MLB season, the excitement surrounding the Philadelphia Phillies is palpable.
After two challenging playoff seasons in 2023 and 2024, following our World Series run in 2022, the pressure is certainly on. However, the team is ready to rise to the occasion with some strategic additions that we believe will make a significant impact.
Entering the 2025 season, the Phillies are positioned with the fourth-best odds for the World Series, trailing only the formidable Dodgers, Yankees, and our fierce division rival, the Braves.
The NL East is shaping up to be a competitive battleground this summer, but the Phillies have confidence that their talented roster can defend the NL East title.
With the addition of left-hander Jesús Luzardo, right-handers Jordan Romano and Joe Ross, along with outfielder Max Kepler, I believe we have improved our chances for the upcoming season.
Each of these players brings unique skills and strengths that will enhance our roster. Luzardo's pitching prowess, Romano's reliability in the bullpen, Ross's versatility, and Kepler's offensive capabilities are all assets that can propel us to new heights.
The Phillies' journey to finish the story begins on February 22nd.
The Phillies will open their spring training against the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland on Saturday, February 22nd. This is a fantastic opportunity to see our team in action as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Their home debut at BayCare Ballpark is the very next day, where they face off against the Baltimore Orioles.
