Adirondack Thunder: Signings and Trades

Last week, Adirondack Thunder made their first player signing announcement and then this week started off with a trade announcement.

Signing:

Kishaun Gervais was re-signed to the Thunder for the 2025-2026 season. The 23-year-old dressed 35 games last season for Adirondack and tallied seven goals with 10 assists. He also accumulated 65 PIMS within those 35 games. Previously to signing with the Thunder, Gervais played in nine games for the Tulsa Oilers and had four goals with one assist. Prior to turning to the professional ranks, Gervais played in the Western Hockey League. The forward played in a total of 50 games for the Portland Winterhawks and gathered nine goals with 10 assists.

Acquired:

On July 7th, 2025, Adirondack Thunder announced they acquired forwards Easton Armstrong and Nick Wong in exchange for Defenseman Brendan Less.

Easton Armstrong:

The 22- year- old Armstrong played 51 games in the course of his rookie season in the 2024-2025 year. He notched eight goals with 13 assists. Armstrong played in the Western Hockey League for the Regina Pats and Winnipeg Ice. In 210 games, he tallied 60 goals and 39 assists.

Nick Wong:

The 23- year- old Wong, scored one goal in the 2024-2025 season and suited up in 10 games for the Atlanta Gladiators after his collegiate season ended at the University of Toronto. In the course of 71 USports Games, the Ontario native had 25 goals and 46 assists. Prior to college, Wong suited up in 255 games in the OHL for Oshawa, Kingston, and Saginaw. He had 68 goals and 54 assists in the course of those games.

Traded Out:

Brendan Less:

The 27- year- old New Jersey Native, dressed in 51 games for Adirondack last season. He tallied one goal with 19 assists. In over 100 games played in the ECHL, he has spent time dressed for the Worcester Railers, Iowa Heartlanders and the Adirondack Thunder. In 123 regular season games, Less has tallied three goals and 35 assists.

Prior to turning professional, the defenseman played four years at Dartmouth College 2017-2021 and played at Quinnipiac University in the 2021-2022 season. During the course of 125 NCAA games, he tallied six goals with 30 assists.
